Of course institutional horror can be exceptionally fun with both the Witcher schools, or Mages capturing or testing, or Emhyr doing much of anything with all his powers and a set of Demitrium cuffs, too.

I would love to float a specific scenario of the elder vampire from NOT taking Syanna to meet Dettlaff, requesting a very different payment. Dettlaff being utterly horrified, shocked out of himself and his own rage as he is summoned to that deep cave, and sees where Regis (whom he knows loves the mutated human very much) can not help Geralt- who is either being used or bred or drained or whatever horror you want to come up with. Possibly with rapid body horror high pregnancy or the like. This particular Witcher is compatible with the Elders, maybe?

The three types I choose for this game were Sci-Fi Horror, Survival Horror, and Psychological Horror. I think they fit it pretty well. I'll try to give at least 3 or 4 prompts for each group, but they are just for a jumping off point. :D This game has plenty of horror elements to take from.

Joel/Tess

1. How exactly did these two meet? I'd love a story that focuses on this. Knowing these two, they probably met under some bad circumstances.

2. There is an unspoken love between Tess and Joel. Tess doesn't say something for fear of ruining whatever is they have.

3. What if Tess wasn't bitten by an infected but instead injured in some other way? Basically I went her to have somehow survived and eventually met up with Joel and Ellie in the end.

Joel & Ellie

1. Take one of the more horrific moments in the game they experience (plenty to choose from!) and just delve into their mindset at the time. Sort of a character study in a way.

2. The pair get into a bad situation and end up cornered by some infected. Time to fight their way out-- and hopefully survive.

3. Ellie recounts the last moment she spent with Riley to Joel. (I imagine it isn't pretty given she probably had to kill her)

1. Garrus and F!Shepard end up stranded on some unknown planet. All they can do is try their hardest to survive until the Normandy can rescue them.

2. Take one of the battles in ME2 or ME3 and expand on it. (Like when Shepard is in the water, speaking to Leviathan. Garrus must've been freaking out back on the surface).

3. Even with the Reapers gone, it's a struggle to get through the day. Shepard is just glad Garrus is with her.
