One thing I'd be interested to see is a perspective flip from the point of view of a Niflheim soldier where the bros themselves are the horror, inflitrating a base, warp-killing people out of nowhere, summoning gods, etc.

I'd also be interested in Luna, Noctis, Regis, etc dealing with the Astrals or Kings of Yore and their alien morality, grappling with existential terror and inevitability. Ardyn in his full creepy glory is also good.

I'd enjoy exploration of the Starscourge. I like the theory that it arrived on the Meteor that Ifrit summoned, and is thus an alien entity/plague similar to FFVII's Jenova. Exploration of Solheim and their rebellion against the gods, as well as Niflheim's similar plans would also be very interesting!

For Midna/Zelda, I enjoy the light/dark contrast and canonical soul/body sharing, as well as the physical transformation and bodily possession that happens. I'd like to see some magical-themed whump- corruption, magic at a cost, losing control of powers, losing one's soul or body etc.
