General Information

• To nominate, edit nominations, or check if your nominations have been approved, please sign into your AO3 account, go to the tagset, and click on the appropriate choice in the top right corner of the screen.
  
• You may nominate items for the tagset even if you are not completely sure whether you want to include them in your own sign-up.
  
• Any nomination queries will be posted to Dreamwidth for feedback from the community. Please check the comm.
  
• Nomination limits are 10 Fandoms and 20 Relationships (per Fandom).
  
• When nominating, lone or single characters must be nominated under “Relationships” by using the format "Solo: [Character Name]".
  
• For this challenge, "/" will indicate romantic and/or sexual relationships, while "&" will indicate platonic relationships.
  
• Please disambiguate all fandoms by using the format "Character or Ship (Fandom)". Some fandom-specific disambiguations below.
  • For example, Itachi alone can be nominated as "Solo: Uchiha Itachi (Naruto)".

Community Discussion

• At the moment, the following 4 mediums are proposed to be used for matching. However, if the community would prefer to use only Art (Medium) and Fic (Medium) with no consideration for sexual content, then that can be changed based on feedback.

• Star Trek: Nominate the original universe by show name. Characters from the Motion Picture through the Undiscovered Country may be nominated under Star Trek: The Original Series. Characters from Generations through Nemesis may be nominated under The Next Generation. AOS should be nominated separately. Books, comics, and other additional media should be nominated separately. All nominations must be disambiguated.


• Star Wars: The main movies are broken up into Prequel Trilogy, Original Trilogy, Sequel Trilogy, Rogue One, and Solo. The Clone Wars movie and series are to be nominated together. Other comics, books, video games, and movies are to be nominated separately by series name. All nominations must be disambiguated.


• Marvel (Comics): Marvel comics are to be nominated together. You may specify universe or run when disambiguating. All nominations must be disambiguated.


• MCU: All of the movies are to be nominated under Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Netflix shows are to be nominated under Defenders. All other shows should be nominated separately.


• DC (Comics): DC comics are to be nominated together. You may specify universe or run when disambiguating. All nominations must at disambiguated.

Persona 4 Protagonist

Under Persona 4, Narukami Yu and Seta Souji are the same character. In the base game there isn't a default name. Seta Souji was the name used in the manga. Narukami Yu was the name used in the anime and has been used repeatedly since. I don't know if you want to leave them as is or replace them with Persona 4 Protagonist. But since you have Persona 5 Protagonist for Persona 5 I thought I'd mention it.

Persona 3 has a similar issue with the male protagonist. The female protagonist of 3 only has a canon name in the musical, but I've never seen it used. I usually see people do a feminine version of the male protag's name.

For the IT movies, how should we disambiguate? The tag for the 1990 series is "IT 1990," should we tag for the new movies with "IT 2017/2019?"

Thank you for asking. Would "IT Muschietti" work? This might be just a bit easier to spot since it corresponds to the AO3 canonical fandom name.

One other question - requesting the core group as a poly ship is too big for the tagset to handle. Would it be okay to nominate them as "Losers Club - Romantic" and "Losers Club - Platonic" to get around that?

Can we nominate groups? I wanted to nominate the Seven Demiurges from Kill Six Billion Demons and the Choir from Bloodborne. Would saying just "The Choir (Bloodborne)" be the best way to go about this?

Thank you for asking. Sure, that would be fine. If you prefer, you could include characters separately too, but it would probably depend on how many fit into the 100-character limit.
